Gaborone — President of Botswana Ian Khama wants you to know that he is not intimidated by the communist totalitarian regime China. Dr Ian Khama, who is president of the diamond-rich nation of less than two million people, stood up to the communist regime's power over His Holiness the Dalai Lama's planned visit to his county in August 2017.

Dharamshala — TPI Reporter Tenzin Zompa interviewed Nityam Singharoy, a visual artist as he began a solo protest on July 31st when he took off on his blue Royal Enfield bike from the Main Temple in Dharamsala heading to Delhi as a silent protest to the Chinese government.

Dharamshala — “We also feel that they must stop the self-immolation and I think that we need more Tibetans to carry out the Tibet movement, inside and outside,” asserts Deputy Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile, Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok.

Dharamshala — "Now that I am here and have interacted with a lot of Tibetans, I have come to realize that Taiwanese and Tibetans have a lot of similar issues to deal with in regards with China. I have deeply come to realize that even with different cultural and traditional backgrounds, we aim for the same target. We go through similar struggle with education, language, cultural, territory etc," said Chen-Yen Chou, a Taiwanese Human Rights and International Politics student visiting Dharamshala during an interview with TPI.
